Description

This is a great apple puree recipe, That is so simple and easy to make, it’s sure to be your regular go-to recipe! Using only apples and water, it is cost-effective, healthy and delicious.


Ingredients

  • 4 apples (we have used pink lady apples here)
  • 4 tbsp boiled water

Instructions

  1. Add 500g water to the Thermomix bowl.
  2. Peel, core and chop apples, into 2-3 cm pieces and place them into the Thermomix’s steamer basket.
  3. Cook for 13 minutes/Varoma/speed 1. Check apple is tender, by piercing with a fork. If it needs a little longer, put it back on for another 2 minutes/Varoma/sp 1. Then check it is soft.
  4. Take the steamer basket of apples out of the Thermomix and discard cooking water. Place apples back into Thermomix bowl, add the 4 tbs boiled water, then place lid and cup on top.
  5. Chop 15 seconds/speed 5. Scrape down sides with a spatula, if needed, chop for another 5 seconds/speed 5.
  6. Store as needed, either in a bowl covered or airtight container in the fridge, or into ice cube trays or small containers and popped into the freezer.

Notes

  • Any apples you like can be used here.
  • Be sure to have sterilized/clean utensils etc that you are working with.
